About the position
DeLallo is seeking part-time seasonal help for various store positions at their Jeannette, PA location. The role focuses on providing an elevated customer experience in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Candidates must be available on weekends and will work in different areas of the store, including cashier, bakery, deli/cheese counter, and grocery stocking.
Responsibilities
- Provide prompt and courteous customer service as a cashier.
- Share knowledge of DeLallo products and services.
- Operate a cash register efficiently and accurately.
- Communicate with customers and co-workers about products and prices in the bakery counter.
- Weigh and price customer selections using label machines and calculators.
- Demonstrate salesmanship and answer customer inquiries.
- Stock and replenish counters with products in the deli/cheese counter.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations and store areas.
- Stock and merchandise shelves as a grocery stocker.
- Unload trucks and organize merchandise.
Requirements
- Experience in customer service is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Effective time management skills.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a retail environment.
- Knowledge of Italian or Mediterranean foods.
