About the position
Under general supervision, the Patient Access Representative (PAR) - Intermediate, will accurately collect and record patient information, while adhering to all relevant regulations and protocols. This role serves as the initial point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth and seamless registration process.
Responsibilities
- Accurately collect and record patient information, including demographic data, insurance information, and medical history
- Verify patient identity and ensure confidentiality of patient information
- Process patient registration, including updating patient records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to resolve registration issues and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including demographic and medical information
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager
