PART-TIME FACULTY, COMMUNICATION STUDIES

About the position

This is a continuous recruitment for an applicant pool to fill part-time faculty (up to 67%) or temporary substitute assignments on an as needed basis. We accept applications on a continual basis. Departments or Divisions will refer to the pool of applications on file, as needed, to fill temporary assignments. Applicants will remain in the pool for 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Fill part-time faculty or temporary substitute assignments as needed.
• Maintain application status in the part-time faculty pool for 12 months.
• Ensure all requested materials are received and included in the application packet.

Requirements

• Master's degree in speech, speech broadcasting, telecommunications, rhetoric, communication, communication studies, speech communication, or organizational communication.
• Bachelor's degree in any of the above AND master's degree in drama/theater arts, mass communication, or English.
• Equivalent qualifications as per the Faculty Equivalency Qualifications process.

Nice-to-haves

• Specific certificates for specialized courses as required by outside agencies based on accreditation.
