As a BoxLunch Part-Time Assistant Manager - Level 1, you'll be a huge part of our success by supporting the store leadership team in providing the best customer experience, ensuring that fellow fans can get their hands on the merch they love. You'll use your fandom knowledge to help train new recruits and ensure their success, and also support the management team in daily operations and meeting sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Provide an amazing shopping experience that will encourage customers to return.
- Step in and step up when needed, covering the sales floor and providing leadership support when the Manager is unavailable.
- Open and close the store as needed.
- Process sales transactions and drive add-on sales using additional benefits such as BOPIS and curbside pickup.
- Understand store sales plan, comp sales goals, and key KPIs: UPT and ADT.
- Assist with planogram changes including store map, wall, fixture, & merchandising mix.
- Communicate fashion trend information to management and respective HQ partners.
- Work with Store Management to prevent theft and ensure security measures are followed.
- Help maintain an organized stock room and keep the store tidy.
- Develop and retain a collaborative, passionate team to run the store.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of retail store experience.
- Strong communication, time management, professionalism, and operational skills.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and handle boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
