About the position

The Part-Time Administrative Assistant will support the Compliance Department of a Business Insurance Company. This role involves ensuring that all necessary paperwork is obtained, reviewed for accuracy, and processed in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines. The position offers an educational opportunity in a specialized compliance field focused on management and professional liability risks and insurance products.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, review and prepare surplus lines documents for reporting and submission to required State agencies.
  • Reconcile with accounting reports to determine discrepancies between data billed and policy documents provided by internal broker team.
  • Prepare required State summary reports.
  • Accurately store client information in required internal systems.
  • Proactively establish and maintain a highly organized task system.
  • Process additional administrative support to the team as needed.
  • Demonstrate compliance with all processes, procedures, workflows and documented standards to deliver accurate materials in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of experience in an administrative role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in insurance or compliance-related fields.
