About the position
The position involves performing preventive and repair maintenance of parking meters, Parking Access, and Revenue Control System (PARCS) equipment. The role also includes various cleaning and maintenance tasks associated with the municipal parking garages and parking lots operation.
Responsibilities
- Performs preventive and repair maintenance of parking meters, PARCS equipment, and other assigned equipment
- Performs trash pickup, sweeping, and washing floors
- Cleans windows and glass surfaces
- Cleans elevators and other building areas
- Performs snow removal with shovels and snow ploughs
- Installs signs and performs other maintenance supporting duties as assigned
- Temporary assignments to other Parking Division Sections may be required
