About the position

The Seasonal Parking Supervisor at Palisades Tahoe is responsible for assisting in the supervision and direction of Parking and Valet Attendants, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. This role involves performing the duties of a Parking Attendant while also overseeing a team, training employees, and managing operational tasks related to parking services.

Responsibilities

• Assist manager in supervising a team of 3-10 employees.
• Train employees; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve problems.
• Comply with Federal and California Labor law in all phases of the payroll and employment process.
• Enforce safety standards in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Perform all duties of a Parking Attendant, including setting up cones, signs, and barricades in parking areas, directing drivers to parking spots, and assisting with traffic control.
• Process credit card transactions and balance at the end of the shift; responsible for safe and accurate cash handling.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• One year supervisory experience
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Able to drive all transmission and car types
• Able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally across all levels of the organization.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships and interact with others.
• Working knowledge of computers including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).
