Park Maintenance Worker (Semi-Skilled Laborer) (Seasonal) - Trough Creek State Park

If so, join the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Trough Creek State Park team and provide semi-skilled and skilled work in the maintenance of district roads, trails and facilities. This position is part of the Canoe Creek State Park Complex, however, the reporting location will be Trough Creek State Park.

Responsibilities

• Perform semi-skilled work alone, assist a skilled trades worker, or function as lead worker for a small crew of manual workers performing routine tasks.
• Use a variety of construction, grounds keeping and maintenance equipment and tools.
• Perform minor repairs and routine grounds keeping and custodial duties with considerable independence.
• Complete more advanced construction or repair work under the direction of a skilled trades worker or supervisor.

Requirements

• One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction; or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Must meet the PA residency requirement.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions.
