The Special Education Paraprofessional will work on student days following the academic calendar year. Special Education Paraprofessionals may support students in one of the following areas: Autistic, Emotional, and Life Skills Supports. The pay rate for the 2026-2027 school year is $24.00/hour. This position includes 5 days of Paid Time Off (prorated based on hire date). The full school day is approximately 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, with potential for a 15-minute difference based on student arrival and dismissal schedules. Pay includes the lunch break. The role involves supporting students in an Autistic Support classroom, requiring comfort with personal care support and behavior redirection.
