Paraprofessionals work with students in small-scale classrooms on the residential campus and at the community Education Center. They support children in receiving treatment, education, and working towards individualized goals. The children in their care have experienced serious trauma and may exhibit intense behavioral issues, requiring therapeutic treatment plans. Paraprofessionals assist Teachers in the classroom, implement lessons, and support students in the educational environment. They also participate in various outdoor activities such as basketball, volleyball, hiking, fishing, and rollerblading, as well as indoor activities like movies, games, drawing, and other hobbies. Paraprofessionals serve as role models, build quality relationships, and set healthy boundaries using a Trauma Informed Care approach, playing a critical role in the successful treatment process for these children.
