Whitington Services for Children and Families is seeking Paraprofessionals who want to make a difference in the lives of others. We currently have a full-time employment opportunity to serve parents and children within our community by developing homemaker and effective parenting skills to support healthy family relationships. The paraprofessional provides services to families and children involved DCS/Probation. Services will be provided in the family’s home, a community site, or in the office (if approved by DCS/Probation), and in the course of assisting with transportation, accompanying the parent(s) during errands necessary to work towards/accomplish goals ex: job search. Services must be compatible with the established DCS/Probation case plan and authorized by the DCS/Probation referral. Paraprofessional staff assist the family through advocating, teaching, demonstrating, monitoring, and/or role modeling new, appropriate skills for coping with the following areas in an effort to build self-sufficiency.
