About the position

The Paramedic position at Superior Air-Ground Ambulance Service involves providing emergency medical care and safe transportation to patients. This role is critical in ensuring high-quality medical services are delivered in compliance with state EMS regulations. Paramedics will work in various locations across Wisconsin, contributing to the largest independent emergency medical services provider in the Midwest.

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate patient care as stipulated in their training as a Paramedic.
• Ensure safe transportation by accurately discerning street names and addresses.
• Assess patients and convey their conditions to other medical professionals.
• Document patient conditions, medical history, and treatments accurately in written reports.
• Maintain the ambulance in a sanitary condition and monitor all fluid levels and gauges.

Requirements

• EMT-P National Registry and/or current state license (or pending).
• Ability to provide medical care at the EMT or Paramedic level while safely transporting patients.
• Possess a valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Pass a pre-employment interview including a physical and lifting examination and a drug screening.
• Attend company provided training and driving course.
