To assist attorneys by performing responsible technical paralegal work involving document preparation, seeking of records and materials for litigation purposes, speaking with witnesses and victims for litigation purposes in juvenile law cases which involve delinquency, abuse/neglect, adoption and termination of parental rights. The Chief Juvenile Officer is the appointing authority. The Chief Juvenile Officer and Chief Deputy Juvenile Officer provide general supervision. The paralegal receives direct supervision by a managing attorney/trial team leader.
