About the position
The Paralegal II position at Aston Carter involves supporting the legal aspects of health and safety for one of the largest tech companies based in Seattle, WA. This role is a 6-month contract with a pay rate of $24-25 per hour, requiring 100% onsite presence. The position is open to candidates residing in Dallas, Seattle, Nashville, or Washington DC, and operates Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.
Responsibilities
- Responding to OSHA complaints
- Responding to Fire Department Violations
- Heavy writing and editing
- Working on different projects with several deadlines
- Drafting responses to OSHA regarding site complaints
- Drafting letters to sites regarding Fire Department violations and following up on resolutions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3+ years of legal experience, preferably as a paralegal
- 3+ years of legal writing experience
- Strong communication skills
- Proactive individual who is not afraid to pick up the phone and call someone
