Requirements

  • Graduation from high school and at least two years experience, paid or voluntary, working with children/individuals with disabilities.
  • Possession of an Associate's degree or higher, at least 48 college semester units, or pass the (ESSA) Every Student Succeeds Act exam.
  • SCOE Para Proficiency certificate OR one of the following: NCLB/ESSA certificate, CBEST, or transcripts showing minimum 48 college units or date AA Degree or higher was awarded.
