About The Position

Jonathan's Landing Golf Club is seeking a Line Cook to join our culinary team within our Food & Beverage department. This is a role for someone who is passionate about food, takes ownership of their station, and understands that consistency and teamwork are the backbone of every great kitchen. Our ideal candidate is an experienced cook who brings technical skill, a strong work ethic, and the drive to perform at a high level every single shift.

Requirements

  • Strong technical cooking skills with the ability to perform consistently under pressure
  • Station awareness and the ability to adapt quickly during high-volume service
  • A collaborative mindset — you lift the team, not just your station
  • Professional, accountable, and committed to high standards
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
  • Minimum 1–2 years of line cook experience in a restaurant, club, or upscale environment preferred
  • Food handler / food safety certification required
  • Ability to stand for extended periods in a hot, high-volume kitchen
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs

Responsibilities

  • Execute menu items accurately and consistently across all stations
  • Maintain proper food temperatures, portion control, and plate presentation
  • Set up, maintain, and break down your station before and after each shift
  • Adapt and rotate across stations as needed to support kitchen flow
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines
  • Communicate effectively with fellow cooks and front-of-house staff during service
  • Assist with prep, inventory, and storage as needed
