About the position
As an Auto Body Painter at CollisionRight, you will be responsible for preparing and painting automotive surfaces to ensure high-quality finishes. Responsibilities
- Preparing metal, plastic, and other automotive surfaces for painting, including sanding, masking, and cleaning.
- Expertly applying base coats, clear coats, and primers using top-of-the-line waterborne or solvent-based paint systems.
- Mixing and matching paint colors to ensure a flawless finish.
- Assisting with body work and automotive accessories as needed.
- Buffing and sanding completed paint jobs to achieve a factory-quality shine.
- Ensuring every paint job meets CollisionRight's high-quality standards.
- Maintaining and cleaning spray guns and equipment.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in auto body painting.
- Solid knowledge of processes, techniques, and materials used in auto body painting.
- Skill in using spray guns with a sharp eye for color and paint mixing.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Comfort working with safety gear and personal protective equipment in hazardous environments.
- Physical strength and agility to handle equipment in a fast-paced environment.
