Since 1983, ACI has specialized in the application of Liquid Primers, Topcoats, Military Coatings, Specialty Coatings, Zinc Phosphate and Aluminum Conversion Coatings. ACI’s process layout allows us the flexibility to handle even the most demanding requirements for our customers. ACI is looking for a Painter - Wet Spray on 1st shift at our Oshkosh, WI facility.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience as a wet paint sprayer
- A complete understanding of fluid delivery and atomizing set up to provide maximum transfer efficiency and throughput
- A complete understanding of Mil thickness and be able to perform a Mil thickness test using Wet and Dry Mil gauges
- Prior experience in a job shop setting
Responsibilities
- Meet quality, safety, and production standards
- Apply coatings to various substrates (large and small parts) using HVLP, electrostatic, powder equipment in a fast paced production environment
- Apply a variety of coatings including but not limited to CARC, 2 part epoxy, and enamels, both solvent and waterborne
- Identify, troubleshoot, and correct potential quality issues associated with coatings, equipment, and part presentation
