About The Position

Join our operations team as a Quality Control Painter, where you will play a key role in ensuring pallets meet customer paint and quality standards. In this role, you will oversee automated pallet painting equipment and inspect finished pallets to confirm they meet required specifications, including PECO standards. This position does not involve manual painting — instead, you will monitor equipment performance, verify paint quality, and help ensure production runs efficiently while maintaining strong safety and quality practices. Requirements

  • Previous manufacturing, paint line, warehouse, or quality inspection experience preferred but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects or inconsistencies
  • Reliable, dependable, and safety-focused work habits
  • Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
  • Basic comfort documenting production or quality information
  • Ability to work in a team-driven production environment
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to stand and move throughout the shift in a production environment
  • Ability to frequently bend, reach, squat, and handle materials during inspections
  • Ability to lift, push, or move materials as required by the role and site operations
  • Good manual dexterity for inspecting pallets and operating equipment controls
  • Ability to hear alarms, machinery, and verbal instructions in a warehouse setting
  • Vision abilities required include near vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral awareness for quality inspection and safe equipment monitoring
  • Ability to wear required PPE including steel-toe footwear, eye protection, and hearing protection

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and oversee automated pallet paint equipment to ensure proper operation and consistent paint coverage
  • Inspect painted pallets to confirm they meet customer specifications and quality standards
  • Verify compliance with PECO or other customer requirements
  • Identify, separate, and report pallets that do not meet quality standards
  • Maintain accurate inspection and production records
  • Communicate quality concerns or equipment issues to leadership
  • Follow all safety procedures when working around paint systems, conveyors, and machinery
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Support other operational areas as needed to help maintain workflow and production efficiency
