The PACT Representative I role is a full-time position within the Corporate - Call Center, responsible for linking the patient experience between PACT and practice sites. This role involves assisting inbound callers, making outbound calls when necessary, and performing basic technical troubleshooting. Key responsibilities include scheduling appointments, coordinating cancellations and reschedules, obtaining and verifying demographic and insurance information, and updating medical records. The representative must identify emergent calls and escalate them appropriately, adhering to guidelines for emergency situations and critical call handling. This position also involves determining patient needs to route them for triage, scheduling, medication refill requests, and paging providers. Providing excellent customer service, assisting with organizational marketing efforts, and maintaining databases are also crucial aspects of the role. The representative must maintain knowledge of and efficiently utilize all departmental information systems.
