About the position

The Packaging Lead at Societe Brewing is responsible for overseeing the operation of the canning line and keg filling processes. This role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and problem-solving in a dynamic environment, ensuring the production of high-quality beer. The Packaging Lead will also focus on continuous improvement of equipment and processes, while maintaining effective communication with management and the team.

Responsibilities

• Run and optimize the PSA CB 50 canning line and keg washing equipment.
• Regularly assess canning line equipment and processes for improvement opportunities.
• Maintain communication with management regarding issues or concerns during shifts.
• Ensure the team packages 80 bbl per day when available.
• Coordinate and organize activities and tasks during shifts for efficiency.
• Handle and resolve operational problems or equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain and report accurate records and documentation related to shifts.

Requirements

• Experience in packaging operations, particularly with canning and keg filling.
• Ability to lift and/or push or pull up to 50L kegs weighing 140 pounds each.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Attention to detail to ensure high-quality production.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with PSA canning lines or similar equipment.
• Knowledge of brewing processes and quality control standards.
