Responsibilities
- Offer various packaging solutions to customers, including barrier shrink bags, thermoforming films, and rigid packaging options.
- Create and execute a territory development strategy in collaboration with field management.
- Work closely with Equipment Specialists to ensure consumable sales align with equipment sales.
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships to support local territory and SupplyOne.
- Train the sales force and internal staff on food packaging products, processes, and suppliers.
- Assist local merchandisers and purchasing agents in identifying and aligning suppliers for PMP opportunities.
- Attend regional and national association meetings to stay updated on industry trends.
Requirements
- 10+ years of food packaging experience, ideally within flexible packaging.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
