About The Position

Advantage Point Group is seeking an Owners Representative with mechanical construction experience for a 6-month position at an industrial plant in Cordova, IL. The role involves monitoring a fire project replacement project. APG Owners Reps oversee construction activities on large chemical manufacturing facilities to ensure contractors complete work safely and in compliance with the contract. The ideal candidate will have substantial construction management and construction safety experience, preferably in heavy commercial or industrial environments. This role does not involve performing physical labor.

Requirements

• 12 years previous experience in industrial/heavy commercial construction
• Demonstrated ability to manage similar project types, sizes, and complexities
• Construction experience with fire protection equipment upgrade projects
• OSHA 30-Hour
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to deal with political aspects of a large corporate environment.
• 12-hour shift, 6 days per week.
