Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior security experience preferred
• Ability to operate security equipment, including surveillance systems and detection devices
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and reporting abilities
• Ability to remain calm and professional in emergency situations
• Physical fitness to perform patrols and respond to incidents
• CLEET I and II License preferred

Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor assigned areas to ensure safety and security
• Report suspicious activities or incidents to local law enforcement or emergency services
• Monitor surveillance cameras and inspect property for security breaches
• Oversee crowd control and ensure the safety of all individuals on the premises
• Conduct security checks of doors, windows, and gates after business hours to confirm property is secure
• Investigate reports of suspicious activity and take appropriate action
• Reasonably detain individuals suspected of criminal activity until law enforcement arrives
• Escort discharged staff members as needed
