About the position

The Overnight Concierge Supervisor at Four Seasons is responsible for overseeing the concierge operations during the overnight shift, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction for residents. This role involves supervising staff, managing resident requests, and maintaining a high standard of hospitality in a luxury environment. The supervisor will also handle emergencies, coordinate with other departments, and ensure compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and monitor activities of all employees in the Residences, ensuring adherence to standards and guidelines.
  • Maintain a professional and high-quality service-oriented environment at all times.
  • Act as the Supervisor on duty for the overnight shift, addressing complaints and special requests.
  • Supervise the night shift, ensuring all employees perform their assigned tasks and coordinate activities with other departments.
  • Inform overnight staff of nightly activities, events, and resident arrivals/departures.
  • Handle emergencies or incidents that arise during the night shift and maintain accurate records of all incidents.
  • Monitor Concierge inventory and restock supplies as needed.
  • Receive handover from the Bartender at the end of the Bar shift regarding pending matters.
  • Post cleaning fees and A La Carte charges to Micros and inform the Finance Department.
  • Complete the nightly Overnight Report and send it to all Managers before the end of the shift.
  • Handle resident interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests and resolving complaints.
  • Process packages, faxes, messages, and mail accurately and timely; store and retrieve resident packages and other items.
  • Supervise and provide access to the building and units for vendors and service providers, ensuring proper authorization.
  • Maintain security and restrict access to non-authorized individuals during overnight hours.
  • Ensure collateral and information for local attractions are updated and current.
  • Establish relationships with local vendors to provide information and services to residents.
  • Update homeowner profiles and preferred vendor information as needed.
  • Monitor the fire alarm panel and respond to emergency situations, providing access to emergency personnel.
  • Coordinate the booking of elevators for move-ins or move-outs.
  • Work harmoniously with co-workers, supervisors, and managers.

Requirements

  • At least two years of post-secondary education is preferred.
  • One to three years of concierge experience in a luxury environment.
  • Previous Four Seasons concierge experience is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in English (written and verbal); an additional language is an asset.
  • Ability to use a variety of software programs.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
