About the position

The Outside Sales Representative at Bluebird Roofing is responsible for generating leads, conducting customer assessments, delivering sales presentations, negotiating deals, and maintaining customer relationships. This role is crucial for driving sales and ensuring customer satisfaction in the roofing industry, with a focus on both residential and commercial projects.

Responsibilities

• Proactively generate leads and cultivate a robust sales pipeline through various channels, including networking, referrals, and strategic cold calling.
• Conduct thorough assessments of customers' roofing needs, demonstrating a deep understanding of industry trends and best practices.
• Deliver persuasive sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential customers, showcasing innovative roofing solutions.
• Negotiate and close sales deals, consistently exceeding customer expectations and meeting ambitious sales targets.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers, identifying opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of successful prior sales experience, preferably in the roofing industry.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and negotiate effectively with customers.
• Highly efficient with excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• High integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct in all interactions.
• Ability to understand and address customers' needs and concerns with empathy.
