About the position

The Outside Sales Representative for Amprod will play a crucial role in driving sales and developing customer relationships in the telecommunications market, particularly focusing on fiber and wireless solutions. This position requires an innovative thinker who can identify customer pain points and create opportunities while maintaining a high level of integrity and excitement about the products offered. The representative will manage solution sales for American Products enclosures across various accounts in the assigned region, ensuring customer loyalty and meeting sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, support, and develop solution sales for American Products enclosures in the assigned region.
  • Maintain customer relationships and ensure customer loyalty through excellent service.
  • Grow sales revenues to meet or exceed assigned sales budget in the territory.
  • Work efficiently in a home office environment, prioritizing and planning sales activities.
  • Maintain sales activities using a CRM or other sales management tools.
  • Follow up on potential leads and assume primary responsibility for them.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a sales-related field such as Marketing or Public Relations preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years' proven sales experience, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.

  • Interpersonal skills to interact and collaborate with a wide variety of internal personnel.
  • Verbal skills to probe and ask questions to ensure understanding of requirements.
