About the position

The Parts Sales Representative at HTS Engineering Ltd. is responsible for providing exceptional customer service in the HVAC parts sector. This role involves identifying replacement and warranty parts, managing inventory, and ensuring efficient shipping operations from the San Antonio office. The representative will work closely with the Outside Salesman to support various product lines and maintain strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the Outside Salesman for the Parts Department to support multiple product lines.
  • Utilize mechanical comprehension of HVAC systems to identify customer replacement parts and equipment needs.
  • Establish and maintain good relationships with customers by meeting their expectations.
  • Assist customers in identifying parts, providing quotes, and processing orders to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Fulfill sales orders by placing orders with manufacturers, tracking shipping, and completing invoicing for processed orders.
  • Maintain accuracy of warehouse and showroom inventory.
  • Stock the warehouse and Parts Department showroom with parts and supplies.
  • Inform customers about updates and bulletins from manufacturers.
  • Coordinate shipping and receiving of freight for Parts Department supplies and equipment.
  • Administer warranty claims for parts from all manufacturers.
  • Execute freight claims for damaged goods.

Requirements

  • Experience in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Construction, or Parts Industry.
  • Excellent initiative and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong PC skills in Microsoft Windows 7 Professional and Outlook.
  • Ability to operate warehouse machinery.
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 50lbs.
