About the position
The Outside Sales Professional at Terminix is responsible for building strong relationships with customers and providing solutions to pest control problems. This role involves inspecting properties, identifying pest infestations, and presenting Terminix's services to potential clients. Responsibilities
- Inspect and identify pest infestations and conditions conducive to infestations.
- Build strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions.
- Prepare and deliver proposals and presentations to potential clients.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Generate new business by meeting and greeting potential customers.
- Participate in training modules and on-the-job training to gain product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Handle delinquent accounts effectively and gracefully.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license from the current state of residence.
- Strong social, customer service, and communication skills.
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Ability to follow instructions for mixing on product labels.
