About the position
The Outside Parts Sales Representative at Kendall Auto Group is responsible for selling OEM and aftermarket parts to clients, including auto body shops and independent repair facilities. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage inventory and customer relationships effectively. The position is not entry-level and seeks candidates with automotive parts experience.
Responsibilities
- Sell parts to auto body shops and independent repair facilities via phone, fax, email, internet, or direct sales.
- Maintain inventory records and assist wholesale customers with parts needs.
- Obtain parts information, resolve issues, create invoices, process orders, returns, and warranties.
- Receive parts from delivery and serve as a back-up retail parts person.
- Visit wholesale customers daily and deliver parts when needed.
Requirements
- Automotive parts experience, including inventory control.
- Knowledge of electronic parts catalogue, manufacturer programs, and warranties.
- Experience with manufacturer specific catalogues is preferred.
- Valid driver license and good driving record.
