About the position

The Outside Parts Sales Representative at I-State Truck Center plays a vital role in driving parts sales within a designated territory. This position focuses on building and maintaining relationships with existing customers while actively seeking new business opportunities. The representative will promote the company's heavy-duty truck parts, provide technical support, and ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Promote parts sales of heavy-duty truck line in the assigned territory.
  • Identify and develop new customer contacts to expand market share and sales of truck parts.
  • Assist customers in solving problems and provide technical support.
  • Act as a liaison between the customer and company to ensure customer needs are met.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3+ years of recent/relevant experience in outside sales.
  • Experience in distribution, industrial, and/or heavy equipment is a plus.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Proven background in sales.
  • Clear driving record.
  • Ability to travel overnight as needed.
