About the position

The Outreach Manager at Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation is responsible for developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies that align with regional and national business development goals. This role involves collaboration with various departments to analyze marketing results, support local outreach efforts, and ensure a safe environment for all stakeholders. The Outreach Manager plays a key role in the national sales team while focusing on local business development and public relations efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales/marketing programs for the assigned SBU.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with the Business Development team and national sales team to execute sales/marketing plans.
  • Analyze sales and marketing results against expectations and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Conduct national outreach to key constituent groups and support strategies that build value at the national level.
  • Assure a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, guests, and visitors.

Requirements

  • Degree in business, marketing, advertising, communications or related field, or 6 years of related work experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 1 year of sales and marketing experience with proven results.
  • 1 year of healthcare or behavioral health experience.
  • Familiarity with addiction/recovery principles.
  • Experience with CRM systems.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills including Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Organizational skills and ability to work independently.

Nice-to-haves

  • Sales experience in healthcare or behavioral health field.
  • Experience with formal public speaking and education beyond sales pitches.
  • Advanced degree.
