About the position

Willow Springs Center has an opening for a Per Diem Outpatient Therapist. This Therapist position will provide clinical services to patients in the Outpatient Treatment Program. Therapists make assessments, create treatment plans, serve as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team and document in the patient chart interactions with patients and family as well as the patient's progress toward reaching treatment goals. Therapists also engage in discharge planning activities. The therapist provides group, individual and family therapy activities and collaborates with community providers, social service agencies and other therapeutic programs. Therapists are called upon to perform crisis intervention and to address hostile behaviors in accordance with facility approved interventions. Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical services to patients in the Outpatient Treatment Program.
  • Make assessments and create treatment plans.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or similar field.
  • A minimum of one year of clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health treatment setting preferred.
  • Must possess licensure as an LCSW or Marriage and Family Therapist. Intern licensure may be accepted.

Nice-to-haves

  • DBT training a plus.
