About the position
The Outpatient Therapist position at ColumbiaCare Services involves providing clinical services on-site in Medford, Oregon. The role focuses on performing provisional assessments for individuals in crisis, offering clinical oversight, and consulting with facility staff while liaising with community providers. The therapist will also receive crisis de-escalation training and can participate in a supervision toward licensure program after a successful introductory period.
Responsibilities
- Perform provisional assessments for individuals experiencing crisis.
- Provide clinical oversight and consultation to facility staff.
- Liaise with other community providers.
- Participate in crisis de-escalation training and perform physical maneuvers as required.
- Develop treatment plans and provide outpatient therapy, case management, and skills training.
Requirements
- Must be eligible for Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) registration.
- Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
- Two years of post-graduate clinical experience in a mental health treatment setting is preferred.
- Unlicensed Therapists must be actively seeking or willing to obtain licensure.
- Ability to pass a DHS criminal background check.
