About the position

The Outpatient Clinician with ASD Specialty at South Central Mental Health Counseling Center is responsible for providing comprehensive mental health services, including intake assessments, individual and family therapy, crisis assessment, and psychological testing for clients, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This role also involves community education, collaboration with peers, and maintaining clinical records while adhering to ethical standards and agency policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide intake assessments and psychological testing for clients seeking services.
• Conduct individual and family therapy sessions.
• Perform crisis assessment and screening as needed.
• Provide education and consultation services to the community.
• Prepare treatment summaries and updates for community partners.
• Attend meetings and collaborate with team members regarding client treatment.
• Lead staff involved in the treatment of clients with Autism.
• Maintain clinical records in a timely manner and ensure compliance with utilization review.
• Sustain professional competence through continuing education and clinical supervision.
• Adhere to ethical standards and agency policies.

Requirements

• BACB Certification
• LBA Licensure
• Master Level Behavioral Health Licensure
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to hear, speak, and write English clearly
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Detail-oriented and good problem-solving skills.
