About The Position

Under the direction of the Asst. Beverage Manager, the Model Server is responsible for serving and expediting guests’ drinks. Promotes the lounge; acts as a brand ambassador; entertains and interacts with clientele and ensures the highest levels of guest service at all times. Mix of sales ability, positive upbeat attitude and image. All model servers must maintain the original mix as hired to maintain their status as a model: Sales Ability – team member must be able to focus and sell designed products as selected by management. This includes menu signature drinks, specials, specific holiday beverages or drinks, wines as selected by management and any other product that’s featured by Marketing. Positive Upbeat Attitude – team members are selected for their upbeat and positive attitude on hire. We require, in order to keep model job code, this attitude is maintained and continues daily. Image – team members are to enhance the company's objective to provide an entertaining environment through maintenance of visual appearance, according to department standards. Standards: Uniform is clean, fitted by tailor and well maintained. It should reflect the intended look and vibe as designated by department management. The only alterations or changes that may be made are by approved wardrobe tailor. Body presentation should reflect a healthy fit look. Overall body presentation should be identical to hire at all times. Team member appearance should include a well prepared fresh look. Gentlemen should be cleanly shaved or well-maintained facial hair. Ladies should have hair styled and make up on at time of start of shift. Failure to maintain standards: First violation will result in a “Coaching and Counseling†document with team member and explanation of what they need to improve on in future. 2nd violation is Record of Discussion and a date set of 30 days for issue to be addressed. 3rd violation is removal of model job code status and repositioning in other role with similar skill set.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and one (1) year experience in beverage/cocktail service.
  • Current or previous modeling and/or promotions experience within the last five (5) years required.
  • Must be able and willing to properly wear the assigned uniform or a special event costume.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to wear specifically designed clothingniform and costumes as needed with flair and techniques associated with modeling industry requirements; posture, gestures and movement.
  • If hired in a 24 hour outlet position, the Model Server must be available to work all shifts; to include Day, Swing and Grave shift.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English while maintaining dialogue with all cultures and ethnicities while upholding a warm, positive and friendly persona at all times.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience working in a nightclub and/or entertainment venue highly preferred.
  • Previous experience in upscale gaming lounge and/or similar entertainment environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Takes guest orders, serves drinks and collects monies in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Adheres to cash handling procedures.
  • Markets and promotes the lounge and services offered to a targeted guest base.
  • Focuses on the development of a personal clientele list.
  • Performs in a public relations capacity when promoting the lounge.
  • Develops promotional ideas for increasing business levels and revenue opportunities.
  • Models designer apparel and accessories.
  • May be required to make several costume changes during the scheduled shift.
  • Interacts and entertains guests in a cordial and gracious manner, thereby creating a memorable experience and building guest loyalty.
  • Serves as Goodwill Ambassador, using finesse and good judgment.
  • Maintains quality service standards with all guests by creating a friendly, relaxed atmosphere while visiting the guests’ table and coordinating service requests.
  • Maintains a constant awareness of safety and accident prevention and immediately notifies the Supervisor if an accident does occur.
  • Informs Supervisor of any irregularities, guest complaints or other disputes, which cannot be readily resolved.
  • Assists the department head with the training/mentoring of new team members as requested.
  • Follows proper check settlement control procedures.
  • Might participate in a professional photo shoot.
  • Acts as a role model to all employees and always presents oneself as a credit to Seminole Gaming and encourages other team members to do the same.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate managers of concerns and observations.
  • Demonstrate actions and behaviors that reinforce the Company’s Mission and Values of Communication, Integrity, Fun, Respect, Accountability, Passion and Dedication.
  • Ensure prompt and discreet notification to managers and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations.
  • Performs other job duties as assigned.
