About the position

The OT Security Lead at Copeland is a strategic role within the Cybersecurity team, focused on securing global manufacturing environments against cyber threats. This position involves leading the OT Security Program, guiding teams in the development and implementation of secure systems, and collaborating with IT and OT teams to enforce security measures. The role is pivotal in shaping industry standards and driving innovative security solutions to protect operational technology.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and shape the OT Security Program, defining strategy and overseeing project initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and expertise to global Operational Technology and Manufacturing teams.
  • Partner with IT and OT teams to implement robust security controls.
  • Define and document security requirements to protect manufacturing from cyber threats.
  • Oversee the implementation of firewalls, segmentation, and other security solutions.
  • Execute risk and security assessments to identify potential gaps.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical work experience.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in cybersecurity.
  • Expertise in cybersecurity principles and industry frameworks (e.g., NIST, IEC 62443).
  • Experience with Operational Technology and Manufacturing systems.
  • Strong knowledge of networking, system administration, and architecture.
  • Outstanding communication skills - written, verbal, and presentation.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to drive consensus and inspire teams.
  • Strong planning and project management skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical work experience with 10+ years of experience.
  • Familiarity with risk assessments and management processes.
  • Experience deploying large-scale, global projects and programs.
  • Professional certifications like CISSP, GICSP, GCIP.
