About the position
We are seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join the leading provider of end-of-life care in the Cheboygan, MI area. This role focuses on delivering high-quality home health care services to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being during critical times.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in their homes.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care.
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and home care.
Requirements
- Current OT or COTA license in the state of Michigan.
- At least one year of experience in Home Health Care (preferred).
- Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
- Ability to pass a background check.
