About the position
Lovelace Medical Group is seeking an experienced Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner to join its established, collaborative group in Albuquerque, NM. You will join 3 surgeons and 1 physician assistant, supported by a tenured staff including a nurse navigator and a dedicated medical assistant. This is a traditional practice with an outpatient focus and possible OR rotations. The clinic has X-ray on site and sees 16-20 patients per day. The clinic hours are Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, with practice call and hospital rounding required for 3 days a month (Friday to Sunday). The practice utilizes Epic EMR.
Responsibilities
- Join a team of 3 surgeons and 1 physician assistant
- Provide outpatient care with possible OR rotations
- Manage 16-20 patients per day
- Participate in practice call and hospital rounding 3 days per month
- Utilize Epic EMR for patient management
Requirements
- Experience as an Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Familiarity with Epic EMR
