The Organizational Development Manager oversees training and career growth opportunities at the Vermont Department of Taxes and designs systems for continuously improving internal processes and documenting institutional knowledge. The Office of the Commissioner includes the Department of Taxes leadership team - the Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, and Chief Operating Officer - as well as data and fiscal analysts, legislative liaisons, the communications and organizational development team, the Internal Control Manager, and the Taxpayer Advocate. The Organizational Development Manager is a member of the communications and organizational development team, which manages the Department's external communications and outreach, as well as internal communications, training, and career development opportunities for the department's approximately 200-person operation.
