About The Position

As an Order Taker for In Room Dining at ARIA, you will deliver a seamless and personalized in‑suite dining experience by accurately capturing guest orders, offering thoughtful recommendations, and upselling menu items to enhance their overall stay. You will serve as a key point of contact for guests, ensuring each interaction is handled with professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail while coordinating efficiently with culinary and delivery teams for timely and accurate execution. In addition, you will support operational excellence by reading and responding to amenity emails, ensuring amenities are dispatched promptly upon guest check‑in, utilizing VIPR to capture scheduled amenities, and creating amenity checks as needed. By maintaining a clean and organized workspace and consistently prioritizing guest satisfaction, you will help create flawless, convenient dining experiences and memorable WOW moments that reflect ARIA’s commitment to luxury service.

Requirements

  • Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
  • Must be 21 years of age or older

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as an Order Taker for Room Service or a similar resort setting preferred

Responsibilities

  • Knowledgeable of entire menu, proper food presentation, and wine selection for up-selling of items
  • Take and place order into POS system, distribute order to serving staff, send information to cook station, and ensure timely pickup of order
  • Advise owner and guest of delivery time and ensure order is delivered to suite in a timely fashion
  • Distribute orders to servers evenly and efficiently and log service runs
  • Ensure supplies are available in the service area
  • Maintain an organized, clean and presentable environment; maintain constant awareness of sanitation, safety and accident prevention
  • Accurately capture guest orders
  • Offer thoughtful recommendations and upsell menu items
  • Coordinate efficiently with culinary and delivery teams
  • Support operational excellence by reading and responding to amenity emails
  • Ensure amenities are dispatched promptly upon guest check-in
  • Utilize VIPR to capture scheduled amenities
  • Create amenity checks as needed
