About the position
The Oracle Apps Tester/Performance Tester role is focused on conducting performance testing for Oracle EBS or similar systems. The position requires extensive experience in performance testing methodologies, particularly in the context of web applications and services. The tester will be responsible for designing and executing load and performance tests, preparing test plans, and analyzing results to ensure optimal system performance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct performance testing for Oracle EBS or similar systems.
- Design and execute load and performance tests against web applications, web services, and SQL Server.
- Write and prepare technical performance test plans.
- Develop data-driven test automation scripts and execute performance and load testing.
- Design and execute daily load BVTs and larger system-level tests.
- Prepare data for execution and analyze data gathered from performance tests.
- Report findings and log defects based on test results.
- Define performance testing objectives and scope.
- Design a performance test plan and strategy.
- Develop performance test scripts and scenarios.
- Configure and manage the performance test environment.
- Assess service level agreements and objectives.
- Identify testing parameters and prepare load test data.
- Execute performance tests and apply consistent monitoring metrics.
- Analyze performance test results and generate performance test reports.
- Identify non-functional requirements for performance testing.
- Collaborate and communicate with other team members in performance testing.
- Review and update performance testing artifacts for accuracy and completeness.
Requirements
- 6-8 years of performance testing experience in Oracle EBS or any EBS systems.
- Mandatory experience in at least one R12 upgrade project.
- Extensive experience with HP testing tools (Load Runner, Quicktest professional, Winrunner, and Performance Center).
- Working knowledge of testing methodologies (agile, waterfall, etc.).
- Experience with test management tools such as JIRA, Quality Center, or TestRail.
