About the position

The Senior Manager in the AI & Data Team at Deloitte is responsible for leading engagement planning, managing client interactions, and driving business development efforts. This role involves collaborating with team members across various geographies to engineer cloud-based analytics solutions and contribute to the firm's growth through strategic advice and technology consulting. The position requires a strong background in cloud and hybrid infrastructures for data and analytics, as well as experience in managing complex engagements and leading teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead engagement planning and budgeting; mobilize and manage engagement teams.
  • Define deliverable structure and content; facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client.
  • Direct on-time, quality delivery of work products; manage engagement economics and risk.
  • Manage day-to-day interactions with executive clients and sponsors.
  • Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients; organize and lead pursuit teams.
  • Participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to proposal pricing strategies.
  • Perform the role of counselor and coach; provide input and guidance into the staffing process.
  • Actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant technology consulting experience, including enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures for data and analytics.
  • 2+ years of experience shaping Executive-level conversations and providing strategic advice, including selling and solutioning Cloud Analytics professional services deals.
  • 5+ years of experience leading and delivering complex Oracle cloud-based data and analytics technology engagements.
  • 8+ years of experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Oracle Fusion Analytics (FDI/FAW), Oracle Fusion Cloud and BI products & applications, and cloud-based data integration strategies.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% on average.

Nice-to-haves

  • Understanding of emerging technologies such as GenAI and advanced data architectures like Data Mesh and Data Fabric.
  • Cloud analytics experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, and/or GCP.
  • Ability to orchestrate, lead, and influence virtual teams for successful project implementation.
  • Strong presentation skills with comfort in addressing both large and small audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience driving the sales cycle and leading proposal content creation.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
