About The Position
We are seeking an experienced OR Tech / Surgical Tech for a travel assignment in Burbank, California. This opportunity is ideal for surgical professionals who thrive in a fast-paced operating room environment and are committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- Recent experience as an OR Tech / Surgical Tech required
- Active BLS certification required
- Strong knowledge of sterile processing and surgical procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume surgical environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures
- Set up sterile instruments, equipment, and surgical supplies
- Assist surgeons and nursing staff during procedures
- Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control standards
- Anticipate surgeon needs during procedures
- Handle instrumentation and surgical equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with patient positioning and room turnover between cases
- Document procedures and supplies accurately per facility protocol
