US Fertility, a leading partnership of physician-led fertility practices, is seeking an OR/PACU RN to join their team at Shady Grove Fertility in Sandy Springs, Georgia. Requirements
- Active RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
- 2 to 3 years clinical experience in Operating/Procedure Room or PACU experience strongly preferred
- Strong technical and clinical assessment skills
- Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment
- Ability to communicate accurately and concisely
Responsibilities
- Utilize advanced assessment skills to identify patient care problems and formulate patient care plans.
- Perform initial preoperative assessment, develop a plan of care, and explain subsequent phases of surgery.
- Provide comfort measures and psychological support to patients and family members.
- Demonstrate proficiency in caring for patients who have received various types of anesthesia or conscious sedation.
- Administer medications by direct intravenous and other routes as directed.
- Provide patient education.
