About the position
Albemarle Eye Center is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate full-time Optometrist to work with our fully integrated provider team and support staff. Join our expanding team of 2 ophthalmologists and 4 optometrists providing care at 5 clinics housing state-of-the-art technology. For over 30 years, Albemarle Eye Center has provided exceptional eye care to patients located in the greater eastern North Carolina area.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive eye care to patients
- Work collaboratively with a team of ophthalmologists and optometrists
- Utilize state-of-the-art technology for patient care
- Manage a high volume of patients effectively
Requirements
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution
- Valid North Carolina optometry license
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a high-volume optometric practice
- Familiarity with advanced diagnostic equipment
- Interest in continuing education and professional development
