Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot complex optical devices and components on military equipment such as tanks and amphibious assault vehicles.
- Perform tests on equipment like laser rangefinders and night vision goggles to identify necessary repairs.
- Repair direct current circuits related to electro-optical and digital fire control systems.
- Maintain digital fire control components to ensure their operability.
- Disassemble and assemble instruments according to specifications to prevent damage.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a "Favorably Adjudicated" Access National Agency Check with Inquiries (ANACI) with Secret Security eligibility.
