Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot complex optical devices and components on military equipment such as tanks and amphibious assault vehicles.
  • Perform tests on equipment like laser rangefinders and night vision goggles to identify necessary repairs.
  • Repair direct current circuits related to electro-optical and digital fire control systems.
  • Maintain digital fire control components to ensure their operability.
  • Disassemble and assemble instruments according to specifications to prevent damage.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test is required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a "Favorably Adjudicated" Access National Agency Check with Inquiries (ANACI) with Secret Security eligibility.
