About the position
The Institute of Ophthalmology and Visual Science at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School is seeking two full-time faculty members in the Division of Vitreoretinal Surgery. The ideal candidates will possess strong clinical expertise and a commitment to resident education, as well as the development of nationally recognized programs in clinical and/or translational research. This position offers an opportunity to work in a highly productive clinical and academic environment, with a focus on excellence in residency training and patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care in the field of vitreoretinal surgery.
- Educate and mentor residents in ophthalmology.
- Develop and lead clinical and translational research programs.
- Contribute to the academic mission of the Institute of Ophthalmology and Visual Science.
Requirements
- Strong clinical expertise in ophthalmology, particularly in vitreoretinal surgery.
- Commitment to resident education and training.
- Experience in clinical and/or translational research.
