About the position

The Opex Machine Operator is responsible for servicing commercial lockbox services, ensuring accurate and timely processing of customer deposits. This role involves operating OPEX machines, handling customer inquiries, and maintaining confidentiality of customer information while adhering to established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate OPEX Eagle and OPEX Falcon machines for processing lockbox deposits.
• Receive and process all lockbox deposits from various commercial customers.
• Sort, open, and process batches of work as required.
• Process corrections as needed for lockbox transactions.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding lockbox services in a timely manner.
• Bill customers monthly according to services provided.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer account information.
• Assist with other commercial operational functions as needed.

Requirements

• Experience with LOCKBOX processing or REMITTANCE processing or DEPOSIT OPERATIONS.
• Strong computer skills, particularly with Windows programs.
• Ability to stand and operate OPEX Eagle for at least 4 hours per day.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

• Intermediate level experience in a similar role.
