About the position

The Water Sourcing Operator is responsible for collecting and transporting water through various systems to customer frac jobs. This role involves working outdoors in diverse weather conditions, operating equipment, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. The operator will work as part of a crew, handling physical tasks and communicating effectively with team members.

Responsibilities

• Laying and picking up poly line and lay flat hose.
• Running transfer pumps and essential equipment for water sourcing operations.
• Loading and unloading pipe, field materials, and equipment onto trailers and trucks.
• Observing machine operations and adjusting controls to maintain specified conditions.
• Setting and servicing pumps and generators at job sites.
• Following all safety procedures and using proper PPE as required.
• Assisting in containment and spill clean-ups.
• Communicating with other workers using signals, radios, and telephones.
• Using common hand and power tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.
• Driving trucks and other vehicles to transport equipment and personnel.

Requirements

• One year of experience and/or equivalent training.
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
• Detail-oriented due to safety requirements.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a team environment.
• Experience in the energy industry is a plus.
• Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies for effective security operations.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
